Berlin, Germany

Vassar College is an associate member of the Berlin Consortium For German Studies established by University of Chicago, Columbia University/Barnard College, Johns Hopkins University, University of Pennsylvania, Princeton and Yale University. The program is based in Berlin and managed by Columbia University.

Clifden, Ireland

The Irish Internship Program in Clifden is only open to Vassar students. Ireland (Irish Elementary and Secondary Schools) was established in 1986. Admission to the program is vetted through the Education Department.

Bologna, Italy

Vassar College, Wellesley College and Wesleyan University offer a study abroad program at the Università di Bologna in Italy. The program is committed to high academic standards and to providing opportunities for students to develop their knowledge of Italian language and culture in one of the most venerable and prestigious academic environments in Europe.

Madrid, Spain

Vassar College and Wesleyan University direct a study abroad program based at Universidad Carlos III in Madrid. The program offers an ideal opportunity for students who wish to perfect their Spanish and increase their cross cultural awareness while living and studying in Madrid.

Paris, France

The Vassar-Wesleyan Program in Paris offers a broad academic program with courses in all aspects of French civilization – politics, art, literature, cinema and history. Living in Paris allows the students to take the opportunity to improve their language skills and learn about contemporary French culture.

St Petersburg, Russia

The Vassar Program in St. Petersburg offers a unique academic semester both for Russian majors and students interested in Art History. Students get a rare behind the scene glimpse into the collections of the Hermitage and the Russian Museum while taking classes in the Hermitage. No previous knowledge of Russian is required.
